A 70th minute penalty and a late header from a corner saw Devonians Witheridge snatch all three points at Bickland Park. Town had hit the post in the first-half through Dan Richardson; the home side then forced good saves from ex-Town keeper Joe Tickle when; first Richardson, and then Ed Timmins, fired in edge of the box efforts early in the second period.
With new signings Rob Wearne and Kayne Trevaskis available hopes had been high, It wasn’t to be though and in the end high flying Witheridge will feel they deserved the win.

A goal from Exmouth’s James Ansell with 15 minutes to go denied plucky Falmouth Town a home victory in a hard fought match. Skipper Tom Whipp had given the home side the lead in first half injury time when he turned in a corner at the far post.
High flying Exmouth pushed for an equaliser in the second half but Dominic Bachelor and Dan Richardson both came close to scoring a second for Falmouth before the visitor’s got back into the game.
A good all round performance from Falmouth Town and a well deserved point.

Falmouth Town’s losing run continued with defeat at high flying Ivybridge Town. The home side took a two goal interval lead and never looked like surrendering the points as they completed a league double over the visitors.
